Intensive Training Programs
With the goal of developing our membership and high level international instructors, Aikido Renshinkai offers a range of programs from 2 and 4 week all-inclusive training packages, to our 11 month Full Time Intensive Program (senshusei course) where students can earn a blackbelt, become instructors, and experience what it’s like to be a Japanese style apprentice (uchi deshi) at a traditional dojo.

Full Time Intensive Program
Shidosha Yosei Full Course (Senshusei Course)
This is an 11 month program running from the beginning of April to the end of February the following year. It is a physically intense program that stresses proper form, technique, and teaching methodology. Aikido experience is not mandatory and mix of student levels from beginner to black belt is normal. Students that make it to the end of the course successfully will have the opportunity to take a black belt examination and, if successful, also test for certification as an Aikido Renshinkai Examiner.

*All Green are compulsory, except for the Kenshu classes marked with asterisks, which are highly recommended but not mandatory. Grey classes are optional.
Full Time Instructor Development Program
Shidosha Yosei Tanki Katei (Instructor development short course)
Renshinkai’s 5 month intensive instructor course begins in October. It offers the opportunity to participate in focused training, to refine of technical ability, and work on teaching methodology. At the conclusion of the program, successful candidates will be able to test for an examiner license. A black belt in Renshinkai Aikido or an equivalent recognized by the Aikido Renshinkai Saiko Shihan (Tsutomu Chida Sensei) is required. Course hours will follow the Intensive Program (senshusei course) schedule shown above.

Short Stay Programs for Renshinkai Members
2 week visitors course includes unlimited training in all regular classes for 8000 yen.
Add kenshu training for an additional 4000 yen.
4 week visitors course includes unlimited training in all regular classes for 14000 yen.
